Ms. Marvel’s last episode aired on July 13, 2022, and fans are already excited to see what crowd-favorite Kamala Khan is going to do later in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). With Phase 4 taking interesting turns sowing seeds from different parts of the on-screen Marvel Universe, some viewers want one very specific thing from Ms. Marvel, ComicBook.com reports.

In the second episode, Kamala’s best friend Bruno explains that the powers were coming from within her and that the bangle unlocked some superhero part inside of her. This led many fans to speculate that she may be an Inhuman in the MCU as she is in the comic book, however, in the last episode, the same conversation veered in a different direction with Bruno saying that there may be some ‘mutation’ in her. The dialogue felt heavy and cementing especially after the X-Men 97 theme started playing in the background. So guess what, Marvel fiends, Kamala Khan is a mutant (and she doesn’t even bat an eye in the show).

Ms. Marvel co-creator Sana Amanat said, “We've been talking about it for some time," as she talks about the change. "Here's a really important thing that people do not know – when we were thinking about the character of Kamala back, back, back in the day in 2012, 2013, when [G.] Willow [Wilson, comic book writer] and myself were ideating, we originally wanted to make her a mutant. That was the whole intention, to be able to do that." It seems like the decision to make Kamala a mutant was one that seems to have a lot of legs to stand on.

However, the Inhumans fans are not having it. Especially after Black Bolt was teased in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, they have been rallying Kevin Feige to bring back the Inhumans to make them MCU canon. A Twitter user named, Kevin said, “#RestoreTheInhumanverse. We [sic] deserves to see the Inhumans done right in the MCU and in live action. Anson Mount brings so much heart and passion to Black Bolt. It would be a crime to never see him again after MoM [Multiverse of Madness]. I hope the MCU has a plan for them.”

Most fans are excited for the Inhumanverse to be restored for two characters and two characters only Daisy Johnson alias Quake from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Black Bolt from Inhumans. Another user named, Future Nostalgia, explained how other characters like Medusa would also make great additions if the Inhumanverse was restored, “#RestoreTheInhumanverse PSA; The Marvel Comics app has a killer sale on a LOT (if not all) Inhuman books for this month! If you were wanting to get into their books or add more to your reading list, now is the perfect time!”

Whether or not Kamala Khan is revealed as an Inhuman, the confusion about her identity is a central theme in the comics, that seemed to have translated on screen too. And with the extremely freaky note on which Ms. Marvel ended, it seemed to have perfectly teased The Marvels
