Movie Recommendations For Today: September 3rd, 2020

Every day we put together a list of three movies that we think you may enjoy. Here are our three for today.

Happy Thursday, folks! As you may already know, every day, we put together a list of three movies that we think you'll enjoy, and today is no different. The selections are based on reviews, personal viewing, and relevance. Some you may have seen already, and some may not be your cup of tea, but we hope that at least one of these catches your eye. Without any further ado, let's get right into it.

The Blair Witch Project (1999)

The first film on our list is the 1999 horror flick 'The Blair Witch Project.' It is about three film students who vanish and leave behind footage of their trip into a Maryland forest to film a documentary on the local Blair Witch legend. Daniel Myrick and Eduardo Sánchez directed the film, and it stars Heather Donahue, Michael C. Williams, and Joshua Leonard

Vivarium (2019)

The second film on our list is the recently released sci-fi psychological horror 'Vivarium.' It follows a young couple who, while looking for the perfect home, find themselves trapped in a mysterious labyrinth-like neighborhood of identical houses. Lorcan Finnegan directed the film, and it stars Imogen Poots and Jesse Eisenberg.

The Photograph (2020)

The last film on our list is the most recent of them all. 'The Photograph' follows a young girl who finds a photograph in a safe-deposit box. The Photograph sets her on a journey into her dead mother's early life - a journey that leads to an unexpected romance with a rising journalist. Stella Meghie directed the film, and it stars Issa Rae and Lakeith Stanfield.
