Happy Tuesday, folks! As you may already know, every day, we put together a list of three movies that we think you'll enjoy, and today is no different. The selections are based on reviews, personal viewing, and relevance. Some you may have seen already, and some may not be your cup of tea, but we hope that at least one of these catches your eye. Without any further ado, let's get right into it.

1922 (2017)



 

The first film on our list is the 2017 horror-drama '1922.' The plot reads:

A rancher conspires to murder his wife for financial gain and convinces his teenage son to participate.

Zak Hilditch directed the film, and it stars Thomas Jane, Neal McDonough, and Molly Parker.

Battle Royale (2000)



 

The next film on our list is the 2000 Japanese action-thriller 'Battle Royale.' The plot reads:

42 9th graders are sent to a deserted island. They are given a map, food, and various weapons. An explosive collar is fitted around their neck. If they break a rule, the collar explodes. Their mission: kill each other and be the last one standing. The last survivor is allowed to leave the island. If there is more than one survivor, the collars explode and kill them all.

Kinji Fukasaku directed the film, and it stars Tatsuya Fujiwara, Aki Maeda, TarĊ Yamamoto, and Takeshi Kitano.

The Photograph (2020)



 

The last film on our list is the 2020 romantic drama 'The Photograph.' The plot reads: 

When famed photographer Christina Eames dies unexpectedly, she leaves her estranged daughter, Mae, hurt, angry and full of questions. When Mae finds a photograph tucked away in a safe-deposit box, she soon finds herself delving into her mother's early life -- an investigation that leads to an unexpected romance with a rising journalist.

Stella Meghie directed the film, and it stars Issa Rae and Lakeith Stanfield.
