Every day we put together a list of three movies that we think you may enjoy. Here are our three for today.
Happy Thursday, folks! As you may already know, every day, we put together a list of three movies that we think you'll enjoy, and today is no different. The selections are based on reviews, personal viewing, and relevance. Some you may have seen already, and some may not be your cup of tea, but we hope that at least one of these catches your eye. Without any further ado, let's get right into it.
The first film on our list is the 2013 adaptation of the Stephen King classic 'Carrie.' It follows a shy and awkward girl protected by her religious mother. She soon finds out that she has telekinetic powers after being bullied at her senior prom, and she unleashes terror on her small town. Kimberly Peirce directed the film, and it stars Chloë Grace Moretz, Judy Greer, Portia Doubleday, and Julianne Moore.
The second film on our list is the 2011 action-drama flick 'Drive.' It follows a Hollywood stuntman and mechanic who also works as a getaway driver. But he finds himself in trouble when he helps out his neighbor. Nicolas Winding Refn directed the film, and it stars Ryan Gosling, Carey Mulligan, Bryan Cranston, Christina Hendricks, Ron Perlman, Oscar Isaac, and Albert Brooks.
The last film on our list is the 2015 romantic mystery comedy-drama 'Paper Towns.' It follows the disappearance of Quentin's life-long crush, Margo, after their all-night adventure. But Margo leaves behind clues for Quentin and his friends to follow on the journey of a lifetime. Jake Schreier directed the film, and it stars Nat Wolff, Cara Delevingne, Halston Sage, Austin Abrams, and Justice Smith.
