The selections are based on reviews, personal viewing, and relevance. Some you may have seen already, and some may not be your cup of tea, but we hope that at least one of these catches your eye. Without any further ado, let's get right into it.
The first film on the list is the 2017 Christmas zombie musical 'Anna and the Apocalypse.' The plot reads:
A zombie apocalypse threatens the sleepy town of Little Haven - at Christmas - forcing Anna and her friends to fight, slash and sing their way to survival, facing the undead in a desperate race to reach their loved ones. But they soon discover that no one is safe in this new world, and with civilization falling apart around them, the only people they can truly rely on are each other.
John McPhail directed the film, and it stars Ella Hunt, Malcolm Cumming, Sarah Swire, Christopher Leveaux, Marli Siu, Ben Wiggins, Mark Benton, and Paul Kaye.
The second film on our list is the 1988 action flick 'Die Hard.' The plot reads:
Hoping to spend Christmas with his estranged wife, detective John McClane arrives in LA. However, he learns about a hostage situation in an office building and his wife is one of the hostages.
John McTiernan directed the film, and it stars Bruce Willis, Alan Rickman, Alexander Godunov, and Bonnie Bedelia.
The last film on our list is the 2020 romantic comedy 'Holidate.' The plot reads:
Fed up with being single on holidays, two strangers agree to be each other's platonic plus-ones all year long, only to catch real feelings along the way.
