The selections are based on reviews, personal viewing, and relevance. Some you may have seen already, and some may not be your cup of tea, but we hope that at least one of these catches your eye. Without any further ado, let's get right into it.
The first film on our list is the 1985 horror-comedy 'Re-Animator.' The plot reads:
Loosely based on H P Lovecraft's classic horror tale, Herbert West is a young scientist who has a good head on his shoulders and another on the lab table in front of him.
Stuart Gordon directed the film and it stars Bruce Abbott, Barbara Crampton, David Gale, Robert Sampson, and Jeffrey Combs.
The second film on our list is the 2007 neo-Western crime thriller 'No Country for Old Men.' The plot reads:
A hunter's life takes a drastic turn when he discovers two million dollars while strolling through the aftermath of a drug deal. He is then pursued by a psychopathic killer who wants the money.
Joel Coen and Ethan Coen directed the film and it stars Tommy Lee Jones, Javier Bardem, and Josh Brolin.
The last film on our list is the 2019 computer-animated black comedy 'The Addams Family.' The plot reads:
Members of the mysterious and spooky Addams family -- Gomez, Morticia, Pugsley, Wednesday, Uncle Fester and Grandma -- are readily preparing for a visit from their even creepier relatives. But trouble soon arises when shady TV personality Margaux Needler realizes that the Addams' eerie hilltop mansion is standing in the way of her dream to sell all the houses in the neighborhood.
Conrad Vernon and Greg Tiernan directed the film and it stars the voices of Oscar Isaac, Charlize Theron, Chloë Grace Moretz, Finn Wolfhard, Nick Kroll, Snoop Dogg, Bette Midler, and Allison Janney.
