Every day we put together a list of three movies that we think you may enjoy. Here are our three for today.
Happy Saturday, folks! As you may already know, every day, we put together a list of three movies that we think you'll enjoy, and today is no different. The selections are based on reviews, personal viewing, and relevance. Some you may have seen already, and some may not be your cup of tea, but we hope that at least one of these catches your eye. Without any further ado, let's get right into it.
The first film on our list is the 2017 gothic horror flick 'The Lodgers.' The plot reads:
A family curse confines orphaned twins Rachel and Edwards to their home, in punishment for their ancestors' sins. Bound to the rules of a haunting childhood lullaby, the twins must never let any outsiders inside the house, must be in their rooms by the chime of midnight, and must never be separated from one another. Breaking any of these rules will incur the wrath of a sinister presence that inhabits the house after midnight.
Brian O'Malley directed the film, and it stars Charlotte Vega, Bill Milner, and Eugene Simon.
The second film on our list is the 1995 space docudrama film 'Apollo 13.' The plot reads:
Astronauts Lovell, Haise and Swigert of the Apollo 13 moon mission find themselves stranded when their spacecraft gets damaged. NASA must now find a way to bring them back before it is too late.
Ron Howard directed the film, and it stars Tom Hanks, Kevin Bacon, Bill Paxton, Ed Harris, and Gary Sinise.
The last film on our list is the 2019 coming-of-age period drama 'Little Women.' The plot reads:
While the March sisters enter the threshold of womanhood, they go through many ups and downs in life and endeavour to make important decisions that can affect their future.
Greta Gerwig directed the film, and it stars Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson, Florence Pugh, Eliza Scanlen, Laura Dern, Timothée Chalamet, Meryl Streep, Tracy Letts, Bob Odenkirk, James Norton, Louis Garrel, and Chris Cooper.
