Every day we recommend three movies that we think you might like. Here are our three for today.
Happy Friday folks! As you may already know, every day we compile a list of three movies that we think you might like. The selections are carefully hand-picked and based on reviews, personal viewing, and relevance. Some you may have seen already and some may not be your cup of tea but we hope that at least one of these catches your eye. Without any further ado, let's get right into it, shall we?
Here's a little history lesson. The trailer for Berlin Syndrome was the first trailer that went viral on our Facebook page Movie Trailers Now. This one trailer triggered the success of Movie Trailers Now and ultimately Trinikid. So, this movie holds a place forever in our hearts. It follows a young Australian photographer who travels to Berlin. While there she meets an attractive young German teacher. Things are all rainbows and butterflies until her new love suddenly takes her hostage. The film was directed by Cate Shortland and stars Teresa Palmer and Max Riemelt.
This is definitely one for the books. The Killing of a Sacred Deer is about a surgeon who finds himself having to make an unthinkable sacrifice when his life falls apart after inviting a teenage boy into his home. The film was directed by Yorgos Lanthimos and stars Colin Farrell, Nicole Kidman, Barry Keoghan, Raffey Cassidy, Sunny Suljic, Alicia Silverstone, and Bill Camp.
The first two films on our list were a bit deep and dark. This one will definitely lighten the mood. It follows three parents trying to stop their daughters from losing their virginity on prom night. It was directed by Kay Cannon and stars Leslie Mann, Ike Barinholtz, John Cena, Kathryn Newton, Gideon Adlon, and Geraldine Viswanathan.
