Every day we recommend three movies that we think you might like. Here are our three for today.
Happy Wednesday folks! Today, like every day, we have compiled a list of three movies that we think you'd like. The selections are based on reviews, personal viewing, and relevance. Some you may have seen already and some may not be your cup of tea but we hope that at least one catches your eye.
Nicole Kidman has been a household name since I can remember myself. And even to this day, she's still going strong. In 2001, she starred in the gothic supernatural psychological horror film "The Others". It follows a woman who lives in an old family home with her two photosensitive children. While living there she becomes convinced that the home is haunted. It was directed by Alejandro Amenábar and stars Nicole Kidman, Fionnula Flanagan, Christopher Eccleston, Elaine Cassidy, Eric Sykes, Alakina Mann, and James Bentley.
This is the feel-good film of the century. "Gifted" follows the story of an intellectually gifted seven-year-old who finds herself in the middle of a custody battle between her uncle and grandmother. The film was directed by Marc Webb and stars Chris Evans, Mckenna Grace, Lindsay Duncan, Jenny Slate, and Octavia Spencer.
The last film on our list is the dark comedy film "Sorry To Bother You". It follows a young telemarketer who adopts a white accent to succeed at his job. The film was directed by Boots Riley, in his directorial debut and stars Lakeith Stanfield, Tessa Thompson, Jermaine Fowler, Omari Hardwick, Terry Crews, Patton Oswalt, David Cross, Danny Glover, Steven Yeun, and Armie Hammer.
