This interesting and unique horror-thriller follows an agent who works for a secretive organization that uses brain-implant technology to inhabit other people's bodies, possessing them to commit assassinations for high-paying clients. Brandon Cronenberg directed the film, and it stars Andrea Riseborough, Christopher Abbott, Rossif Sutherland, Tuppence Middleton, Sean Bean, and Jennifer Jason Leigh.
Dredd follows a cop who lives in a futuristic city where the police have the power to act as judge, jury, and executioner as he teams with a trainee to take down a gang that deals the reality-altering drug, SLO-MO. Pete Travis directed the film, and it stars Karl Urban, Olivia Thirlby, Wood Harris, and Lena Headey.
The last film on our list is an animated film that most of you may have already seen. But it may have slipped past some of you. No worries, we got you. Inside Out follows young Riley's emotions, Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust, and Sadness as they come into conflict with how best to help her navigate a new city, house, and school. Pete Docter directed the film, and it stars the voices of Amy Poehler, Phyllis Smith, Richard Kind, Lewis Black, Bill Hader, Mindy Kaling, Kaitlyn Dias, Diane Lane, and Kyle MacLachlan.
