Every day we put together a list of three movies that we think you may enjoy. Here are our three for today.
Happy Wednesday, folks! Today, like every day, we have put together a list of three movies that we think you'll enjoy. The selections are based on reviews, personal viewing, and relevance. Some, you may have seen already, and some may not be your cup of tea, but we hope that at least one of these catches your eye. Let's get right into it.
'10 Cloverfield Lane' follows a woman who, after getting into a car accident, is held in a shelter with two men claiming that the world is affected by a widespread chemical attack. Dan Trachtenberg directed the film in his directorial debut, and it stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead, John Goodman, and John Gallagher Jr.
'Da 5 Bloods' is the most recent of Netflix's films, and it is the most relevant on the list. In light of the BLM protests, this one is a godsend. It follows four Vietnam war vets who return to the country to find the remains of their fallen squad leader and the gold fortune he helped them hide. Spike Lee directed the film, and it stars Delroy Lindo, Jonathan Majors, Clarke Peters, Johnny Trí Nguyễn, Norm Lewis, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Mélanie Thierry, Paul Walter Hauser, Jasper Pääkkönen, Jean Reno, Veronica Ngo, and Chadwick Boseman. The last film on our list is a gem that many of you may have missed. 'Crimson Peak' follows an aspiring author who travels to a remote Gothic mansion in the English hills with her new husband and his sister. But she quickly finds out that the house is haunted by mysterious ghosts. Guillermo del Toro directed the film, and it stars Mia Wasikowska, Tom Hiddleston, Jessica Chastain, Charlie Hunnam, and Jim Beaver.
