Every day we put together a list of three movies that we think you may enjoy. Here are our three for today.
Happy Tuesday, folks! As you may already know, every day, we put together a list of three movies that we think you'll enjoy, and today is no different. The selections are based on reviews, personal viewing, and relevance. Some, you may have seen already, and some may not be your cup of tea, but we hope that at least one of these catches your eye. Without any further ado, let's get right into it.
We're not in November right now, but even in June, you can enjoy this Estonian fantasy dram. It follows a young woman in a poor Estonian village who tries to get a young man to love her and a group of peasants who use magic and folk remedies to survive the winter. Rainer Sarnet directed the film, and it stars Rea Lest, Jörgen Liik, and Arvo Kukumägi.
This 2017 film was heavily promoted, and I'm sure you've heard of it. But have you seen it? If the answer is no, then stop what you're doing and watch it right now. The film follows a young girl named Barbara Thorson, who copes with life by escaping into a fantasy life of magic and monsters. Anders Walter directed the film, and it stars Madison Wolfe, Imogen Poots, Sydney Wade, Rory Jackson, Art Parkinson, Noel Clarke, Jennifer Ehle, and Zoe Saldana.
The last film on our list is perfect for the family. The Good Dinosaur follows an Apatosaurus named Arlo, who makes an unlikely human friend in a world where humans and dinosaurs coexist. Peter Sohn directed the film in his directorial debut, and it stars the voices of Raymond Ochoa, Jack Bright, Sam Elliott, Anna Paquin, A. J. Buckley, Steve Zahn, Jeffrey Wright, and Frances McDormand.
