Movie Recommendations For Today: June 14th, 2020

Every day we put together a list of three movies that we think you may enjoy. Here are our three for today.

Happy Sunday folks! Every day we handpick three movies that we think you will enjoy. Today is no different. The selections are based on reviews, relevance, and personal viewing. Some, you may have seen already and some may not be your cup of tea but we hope that at least one of these catches your eye. Today we're going to make the list a bit more light-hearted with no real hardcore stuff.

Goosebumps (2015)

We normally start our list with a hardcore horror film but this is pretty soft for a horror. It's more of an action-comedy. Goosebumps follows R.L. Stine and a teenager's attempts to save their town after all the monsters from the Goosebumps franchise escape from the books to wreak havoc in the real world. The film was directed by Rob Letterman and stars Jack Black, Dylan Minnette, Odeya Rush, Amy Ryan, Ryan Lee, and Jillian Bell.

The Edge of Seventeen (2016)

This is another light-hearted film that is a good watch. It is a coming-of-age comedy that follows a High School girl whose life becomes a bit more unbearable when her best friend begins dating her older brother. It was directed by Kelly Fremon Craig, in her directorial debut, and stars Hailee Steinfeld, Woody Harrelson, Kyra Sedgwick, and Haley Lu Richardson.

Isn't It Romantic (2019)

The last film on our list is the most light-hearted of them all and follows a woman who finds herself in a world where everything is like a clich├ęd PG-13 romantic comedy. It was directed by Todd Strauss-Schulson and stars Rebel Wilson, Liam Hemsworth, Adam DeVine, and Priyanka Chopra.
