Every day we put together a list of three movies that we think you may enjoy. Here are our three for today.
Happy Monday, folks! As you may already know, every day, we put together a list of three movies that we think you'll enjoy, and today is no different. The selections are based on reviews, personal viewing, and relevance. Some, you may have seen already, and some may not be your cup of tea, but we hope that at least one of these catches your eye. Without any further ado, let's get right into it.
The new 'Hellboy' may have been a disappointment, but don't let that turn you away from the original. 2004's 'Hellboy' follows a demon turned good who keeps the world safe from paranormal threats with his team, the Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense. Guillermo del Toro directed the film, and it stars Ron Perlman, Selma Blair, Jeffrey Tambor, Karel Roden, Rupert Evans, and John Hurt
'Captain Phillips' was among the gems of 2013. It follows the true story of the 2009 Maersk Alabama hijacking, where Somali pirates take merchant mariner Captain Richard Phillips hostage in the Guardafui Channel. Paul Greengrass directed the film, and it stars Tom Hanks and Barkhad Abdi.
The last film on our list is a must-see for, well, everyone. The live-action remake is coming soon, but nothing beats the original. 'Mulan' follows a young maiden who disguises herself as a man to save her father from death in the army. Tony Bancroft and Barry Cook directed the film, and it stars the voices of Ming-Na Wen, Eddie Murphy, BD Wong, Miguel Ferrer, June Foray, James Hong, Pat Morita, and George Takei.
