Movie Recommendations For Today: July 13th, 2020

Every day we put together a list of three movies that we think you may enjoy. Here are our three for today.

Happy Monday, folks! I hope you had a great weekend. As you may already know, every day, we put together a list of three movies that we think you'll enjoy, and today is no different. The selections are based on reviews, personal viewing, and relevance. Some, you may have seen already, and some may not be your cup of tea, but we hope that at least one of these catches your eye. Without any further ado, let's get right into it.

The Hunt (2020)

The first film on our list is the most recent of them all. 'The Hunt' was released during the pandemic and managed quite a positive response. It follows a group of strangers who wake up in a forest without any knowledge of how they got there. They soon realize that they are in the center of a hunt where Ruthless elitists gather to hunt and kill humans for sport. But things don't go as planned for the Ruthless Elitist when one of the captors turns the table on them. Craig Zobel directed the film, and it stars Betty Gilpin, Ike Barinholtz, Amy Madigan, Emma Roberts, Ethan Suplee, and Hilary Swank.

The Magnificent Seven (2016)

This Western Action-Adventure was a big hit when it first came out in 2016. The film follows seven gunmen who team up to protect a town from the private army of a destructive industrialist. Antoine Fuqua directed the film, and it stars Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, Ethan Hawke, Vincent D'Onofrio, Lee Byung-hun, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Martin Sensmeier, Haley Bennett, and Peter Sarsgaard.

Midnight in Paris (2011)

'Midnight in Paris' is among my favorite films. I adored this one. It follows Gil, who takes a vacation to Paris with his fiancee and her family while trying to finish his debut novel. Soon after, the city takes him back in time, away from his fiancee. Woody Allen directed the film, and it stars Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams, Kathy Bates, Adrien Brody, Carla Bruni, Tom Hiddleston, Marion Cotillard, and Michael Sheen.
