It's been only two months since the first season premiered on Netflix, and the fact that the show got all the love and appreciation from the audience, Netflix didn't waste any time to prepare for the second season.
It is always good to see women owning the power that they already have to build an empire of their own. Netflix's brand new Brazillian series, 'Most Beautiful Thing' is the story set in the 1950s of a housewife in Rio de Janeiro, who is emotionally devastated after being abandoned by her husband. However, she does not let this break her, and therefore, she decides to stay back in Rio and open her own club. The story beautifully showcases an empowered woman who finds her independence by believing in herself. The show released on Netflix on March 22, and here is everything we know about 'Most Beautiful Thing' Season 2.
The Netflix original Brazilian series will definitely have a second season! It's been only two months since the first season was premiered on Netflix, and the fact that the show got all the love and appreciation from the audience, Netflix wouldn't waste any time to prepare for the second season. The second season will have six new episodes whose filming will start in the second half of the year.
The second season of the series will be shot in the second half of 2019 in Rio de Janeiro and San Pablo, with production by Prodigo Films.
Even though the first season ended tragically we can still expect to see the main characters return even if it's just in flashbacks and memories. The new season will star Maria Casadevall, Pathy Dejesus, Fernanda Vasconcellos, Mel Lisboa, Leandro Lima, Ícaro Silva, and Gustavo Machado. On the other hand, the role of the general director is taken up by Caito Ortiz and Beto Gauss and Francesco Civita are executive producers. Heather Roth and Giuliano Cedroni will be writing the script for the second installment.
There is no official word on when we can expect to see the second season but since filming is expected to start in the second half of the year we can expect at best a summer 2020 release or at worst an early 2021 release. It's most probable that Netflix is going to work on getting it released by next summer. Again, we are just going to have to wait for an official announcement.
Well, why wouldn't they?
