‘Morbius 2’: Everything We Know So Far

When Morbius debuted, it sank miserably at the box office and even a re-release couldn’t save them. Matt Smith in an interview with Rolling Stone said “It’s a film, at the end of the day, we’re not saving lives. For whatever reason, it didn’t quite work out, and… It is what it is,” But all’s well that ends well,Morbius became the 2nd most watched film on Netflix at the time of its release and it’s entirely possible that a sequel may be in store for us, continue reading to get all the juicy details on the movie…

What’s the Potential Release Date of Morbius 2?

Morbius 2 has yet to be confirmed so of course there’s no release date to offer as of now. Sony has a busy couple of years ahead with Marvel Projects, so it is difficult to determine if they have any plans to extend this series. We will be updating if anything comes up soon, but it’s sanguine that we won’t see anything until 2025.

What Can We Expect From The Plot of Morbius 2?

There are two plotlines that the show can build upon, Martine Bancroft’s ‘death’ and Vulture’s Sinister Six tease. In order to get Morbius to fight against him, Milo kidnaps Martine, and just before Morbius arrives, Milo kills Martine to leave her dying for him to find. Morbius then ultimately defeats Milo and kills him with the antibody he created. The audience is then taken to the scene where Martine’s body is and then we see her eyes open. Comic book fans may be able to tell that Martine is now a vampire. However, it’s unclear which vampire Martine has turned into. The movie has the comic book as its source material and has a lot of potential. However, we are yet to see if Sony will give this prediction a fair chance.

Who is in The Cast of Morbius 2?

The movie is yet to be confirmed, so there is no official cast as of now. However, it’s certain that Jared Leto will return as he is playing the titular character. He will be joined by Adria Arjona as Martinne Bancroft, who has now been transformed into a vampire. We might not get to see Matt Smith‘s Milo and Jared Harris‘s Dr. Nicholas, as their characters were properly killed off in the first part.
