Will Master of the House Return With Season 2?
No, a second season of Master of the House has not yet been revealed by Netflix. The story revolves around the struggle for dominance among the Thewasathitpaisan family following the unexplained passing of diamond tycoon Roongroj (Teerapong Leowrakwong). In the Thai series, Kaimook (Yada Narilya Gulmongkolpech), the tycoon’s new housekeeper-turned-wife, finds the murderer. In the meantime, Roongroj’s sons, Phupat and Mavin, who have been after his wealth, emerge as the main suspects in the murder case.
In the last episode of the first season, Master of the House wraps up loose ends by revealing the murderer and the motivation. As the motive also emerges, Kaimook is revealed to be the mastermind behind the family’s murders.
Kaimook is shocked and enraged after an older maid, Dao, kills herself. In order to exact revenge on Roongroj and his family for mistreating the servants, she plans the entire affair. By convincing the businessman that she can have a son that he can manipulate, Kaimook forces him to marry her. In the end, Roongroj gives Kaimook and any children she has his money.
By the conclusion of Master of the House season 1, Roongroj, Phupat, and Mavin have all died, proving that Kaimook’s plan of retaliation was successful. The home is then taken over by the servants in the dramatic conclusion.
