The Deleted Hulk Scene Of Hulk From Avengers: Endgame Attracts Severe Backlash From Fans

Avengers: Endgame was re-released in theaters with the additional footage. But a scene with Hulk turned out to be massively disappointing.

'Avengers: Endgame' was re-released in theaters this weekend with additional never before seen footage last weekend and it promised fans that it will deliver exclusive new bonus footage. After the release, it didn't take long for Marvel fans to head out and see the Avengers: Endgame re-release and they immediately took it to social media to voice their displeasure about the so-called additional footage. As it turns out, the movie re-released with just one extra footage and it consists of one deleted Hulk scene of Smart Hulk saving a group of people. And guess what, the scene was not even completely finished in terms of the visual effects.

Justifiably, this has made all the Marvel fans quite mad. One Redditor posted last Friday saying, "It’s so bad because the CG isn’t finished on Hulk so it’s hugely disappointing." If you thought that the deleted scene was bad enough, wait to hear about what happens in the scene. It just goes to show how much Disney, Feige, and Marvel don't apparently care about their fans as they didn't bother finishing the special effects. In fact, they quickly released it as a part of a marketing strategy to promote 'Spiderman: Far From Home' and a quick cash grabbing technique to dethrone 'Avatar' as the top-grossing movie.

Images of the additional footage have leaked online and it just proves actually how bad the scene is actually. The pictures show the Hulk taking a call from Steve Rogers and the other scene shows The Hulk saving children from a burning building. One Twitter user wrote, "Imagine going to see Endgame again just for that scene alone." Another one added, "Marvel made fools of its fans and people are defending them? LOL." Even though some people pointed out that it's an unfinished Hulk deleted scene, other fans were quick to point out that it shouldn't have been released in theaters.

One Twitter user said, "Then they shouldn't show it in the cinema." Another one said, "That’s played after the credits, therefore making it a post credit scene. And they shouldn’t have released it if it wasn’t finished in the first place." A third one added, "The least they could do is finish the scene." One more tweet reads, "That's hideous."  Also, the online report points out that the deleted Hulk scene was so bad that the Hulk doesn't even recognize Steve's voice when he calls. In this context, another fan tweeted, saying, "Honestly, CG aside I’m just glad this scene wasn’t in the film. This is a stupid thing to get hung up on, but I don’t like the implication that Bruce and the rest of the team were out of contact so long that he doesn’t recognize Steve’s voice immediately."

Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios are known for their excellent fan service, but with their release of Captain Marvel and casting of Brie Larson, things, unfortunately, have and continue to change, much like the Hulk deleted scene, for the worse.
