"We have big Ideas", he says! With so many announcements back to back we are not doubting it!
Marvel Studios Main man has some news for us! The studio is heading into the next phase Phase 5 with the release of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which sets up the next series of Avengers movies. The next phase is set to tell more stories from the chapter of Peter Parker, Speaking To Entertainment Weekly, Feige said that the team is officially beginning work on the next Spider-Man film.
"All I will say is that we have the story," he teased. "We have big ideas for that, and our writers are just putting pen to paper now." However, Fiege is yet to announce if the other two Spiderman will return from the different universes.
Feige also talked about the next Fantastic Four film, "We sort of talked about mutants and that whole aspect to the Marvel world, but Fantastic Four is the foundation for everything that came after in the comics," Feige explained.
"There [have] certainly been versions of it [on screen], but never inhabiting the storytelling of the MCU."
"And that's something that is really exciting for us. People will start to hear more about that soon. We plan on that being a big pillar of the MCU going forward, just the way they've been in the comics for 50 or 60 years."
Penn Badgley will reportedly play Reed Richards in Fantastic Four. However, the actor is yet to confirm the same.
In other news that we covered, Deadpool 3 has also been confirmed by Kevin Feige and reported by EW. Elsewhere Feige also confirmed the Marvel Debut of Harrison Ford who is taking on the role of our beloved Captain America in the new film Captain America: New World Order.
"He’s tireless with the amount of work that he does,” Feige said about Ford. “This is certainly a big part for Thaddeus Ross. He’s the president of the United States in the film. And with Harrison, you think about ‘Air Force One,’ and you think about some of his confrontations with the president in ‘Clear and Present Danger.’ There’s a dynamic between President Ross and [Anthony Mackie’s] Sam Wilson. They have a history together, but in this film, we’ll be seeing the dynamic between Captain America and the president of the United States in a way that is just incredible."
Marvel in collaboration with Disney has also renewed Moon Knight season 2, the next years are going to be extremely exciting for all Marvel fans, We have been feeling overwhelmed with all the announcements that have come our way in the last few weeks. Nevertheless, watch the space for more updates!
