Madison Iseman is among the loveliest faces of Hollywood. The young star has appeared as the pretty and popular Bethany in 'Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle', and proved her knack in horror films as Mary Ellen in 'Annabelle Comes Home'.

She's proven her acting skills again in her latest psychological thriller 'Fear Of Rain' where she plays a young girl suffering from Schizophrenia who tries to figure out if something sinister is happening next door or if it is all just hallucinations.

Some people might think that Madison Iseman is a neophyte in the industry,  but the truth is she's been acting for a decade.

1. She Loves Horror Movies

Madison Iseman is a sucker for horror flicks.

In an interview with LOfficiel, the actress revealed she's spent her childhood making homemade horror films.

“My friends and I were having a sleepover and I burned a copy of the scary part of The Ring and put it into the DVD we were going to watch that night,” she laughs.  

2. She Moved To LA At 16 To Pursue Acting

Madison Iseman is a young woman with big dreams and a brave attitude. She was born and raised in South Carolina but decided to move to LA at a young age to pursue her acting dreams. Not every dreamer gets their chance to grow big in LA, but Madison made it! She thanks her best friend for pushing her to take the risk. 

"I moved across the country when I was 16. Before then I was just a normal kid going through the motions of being a kid/teenager. My best friend in high school signed me up for an opportunity to go to LA through this program as a joke," Madison told abookof.us.

"Anyway, I ended up going, because why not, and had the most amazing time. I ended up meeting my now manager and moved to California just weeks later. And now here I am! Almost five years later and I’m still here. I pretty much owe it all to my best friend."

3. She Cried When She Was Cast In Jumanji

'Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle' is among Madison Iseman's biggest breaks in the industry. She played the role of  Bethany Walker, one of the friends who got sucked into the world of Jumanji after tinkering with a mysterious old board game that later transformed into a video game cartridge. Madison was not able to hold her tears upon receiving the casting news.

"I was getting coffee with some of my friends and pretty much burst into tears when I got the phone call," the actress said in the same interview with abookof.us.

4. She Is Also A Musician

Aside from acting, Madison also has a knack for music. You can see videos of her singing and playing the guitar on Instagram. Unfortunately, she has no plans of furthering her music career just yet.

She told Crookes Magazine that she has "always loved music and it's always something that has been so personal to" her, addding:

"I’ve dipped my toes into the music world and it wasn’t really my favorite. So no plans right now."

5. She Is A Cat Lady

Madison Iseman has a fluffy pet cat which she calls her son. She loves him so much and often shares pictures and videos of him.

6. She's Struggled With Anxiety And Depression

Madison Iseman may have been brave enough to move across the country when she was 16, but it doesn't mean she has no internal battles to fight.

She told Cliche Mag about her mental health struggles and how she overcame them.

"I slipped so far into my anxiety that I actually broke out in shingles. Thankfully, I got right on medication and was only sick for about a month. For the first time in my life, I realized taking care of yourself has to be a priority.”

7. She Exercises A Lot

Madison doesn't share a lot of workout videos on social media, but she enjoys exercising a lot. Working out is something personal for her, saying the activity is a "self-discovery'.

"Something fans would be surprised to know about me is that I am an absolute fitness junkie. I don’t advertise it a ton over social media because it's been a self-discovery over the past couple of months,” she told Glitter Magazine.

8. She Wakes Up At 4 AM On A Normal Day

Madison Iseman's life as a movie star is full of early call times and grueling hours of shooting. She revealed to Cliche mag what her normal day looks like.

"Early call times, which means I wake up at about 4:30 AM, drive and arrive on set at 5:00 AM, eat breakfast, slip into hair and makeup, then off to set to work. I always try to find time to go to the gym after, and then I eat dinner and go to bed."

9. She Loves Social Media

Other stars have been very hesitant to get into social media due to privacy concerns and the negative impacts that surround the tool. Madison thinks otherwise. She believes it's a great way to connect with people, but thinks that likes and follows should not be given much attention.

"I really do love social media! I love connecting with people and most importantly, sharing pictures. I think people should stop taking social media so seriously. It is very easy to get wrapped up in the attention that comes with it, but it’s important to remember that those likes and follows are just numbers," she said in the same interview with Cliche Mag.

Madison Iseman has just recently celebrated her 24th birthday. She was born on February 14, 1997.
