Okay, so a few days ago, she was reportedly single. But in a stunning turn of events, Chase Stokes took to his Instagram and revealed that he is indeed dating Madelyn Cline. He posted a photo of the two having a picnic on the beach with the caption: "cats outta the bag ❤️". This post may still seem vague to some but the two have been stirring the pot for some time now with many flirty comments. There's also the fact that Cline spoke to ELLE Canada in April about how she ended up quarantining with Stokes. They seemingly had quite a lot of fun in quarantine, you know, rewatching "Outer Banks" over and over again.
Before she went out into her pursuit of acting she spent summers in New York City working on TV commercials and print ads for Next, T-mobile, and Sunny D.
Hollywood isn't easy and sometimes it takes quite a lot of rejection before landing your first role. With Cline's beauty and acting chops, you'd think that she just showed up in Hollywood and every studio exec was kneeling at her door, begging her to audition (LOL). No, this wasn't the case, and it isn't the case for many. Cline mentioned that when she first moved out to Los Angeles she dealt with a lot of rejection. Most would quit, but the young starlet didn't give up and eventually began landing roles. She was cast in small parts such as Chloe in "Boy Erased" and Taylor Watts in "Vice Principals". Cline first enrolled at Coastal Carolina University but soon realized that she wasn't happy and wanted to pursue acting. She knew her parents wouldn't agree with her decision to drop out but she sucked it up and called them and explained her reasons. I'm sure they are very proud of her now.
Cline has many talents and ballet is one of them. Back when she was still at home in South Carolina she took up advanced ballet classes at the Classic Ballet Centre in Summerville.
On Cline's Screen Actors Guild page it mentions that she can speak French on a conversational level. This may definitely come in handy.
When Madelyn Cline isn't acting and killing the game in basically everything she does, she finds herself on the back of a horse. She loves horse riding and supposedly really good at it, but it is unclear whether she takes part in competitions.
The Outer Banks is a real place you can go visit but the Netflix show was not shot there. It was actually shot in Charleston, South Carolina which is 20 minutes from Goose Creek, SC where Madelyn Cline is from. She has actually never been to The Outer Banks and Netflix refused to film there because of the conservative laws that North Carolina has passed in regards to the LGBT community.
