Will Kaguya Shinomiya ever confess her feelings?
Miyuki Shirogane and Kaguya Shinomiya doubled their efforts to make each other confess how they truly feel in 'Kaguya-sama: Love Is War' season 2.
The two students of Shuchiin Academy clearly liked each other, but their pride has gotten in the way of their budding romance since the beginning.
After a slightly frustrating season 2, let's find out what's next for Miyuki and Kaguya's love story.
Here's everything we know so far.
Great news, anime lovers! Season 3 for 'Love Is War' is officially confirmed.
'Kaguya-sama: Love Is War' is among the most popular anime series as of the moment. The manga series written by Aka Akasaka (where the anime is based) is also enjoying similar popularity and is the ninth-best-selling manga in 2019, with over 4 million copies sold.
Its popularity breeds high expectations in the Otaku community. Some fans were disappointed with how season 2 concluded. Nevertheless, they are very happy to welcome the season 3 announcement, hoping that it will be better than the last.
There is still no release date announced for 'Love Is War' Season 3. However, we know that a new OVA episode will be released this year, though we still have to find out when exactly.
Season one premiered in Japan from January to March 2019, followed by season 2 in April and June 2020.
If anime production managed to follow the same pattern, then we're supposed to see season 3 around the mid to third quarter of 2021.
However, we know the uncertainty brought by the pandemic, so this could still be delayed.
Plus, the production team seems more focused on releasing the OVA this year, so maybe season 3 would drop around 2022 at least.
The upcoming season will adapt the remaining chapters of the 10th volume of the manga series.
Season 2 showed Miyuki trying his best to make Kaguya confess.
He can't seem to decipher the signals she's sending, so he's made extra effort to determine her true feelings.
For season 3, we are expecting to see the two develop a deeper romance in the student council. Perhaps, Kaguya will finally confess how she fells for Miyuki.
Of course, this isn't going to be a smooth sailing affair, so expect a couple of twists and turns along the way.
It will be a while before we could see the official trailer for season 3. The studio is yet to announce a release date, so we're still left in the shadows as to when to expect the official trailer to drop.
In the meantime, here is season 2's official trailer for you.
