The Loki Disney+ series finale is absolutely crushing it with a stellar viewership of 2.5 million in its first five days.
Loki has managed to outwit the likes of Wandavision and Falcon and the Winter Soldier in terms of viewership. The Loki finale topped the Disney+ charts with a massive five-day run of 2.5 million views between Wednesday, July 14 and Saturday, July 18, according to Samba TV.
Out of that 2.5 million, 1.9 million came from the US alone.
This number is absolutely huge in comparison to the MCU series that came before it. Wandavision's finale managed 1.4 million US viewers while Falcon and the Winter Soldier managed 1.7 million, both within the same respective five-day period.
The domination didn't stop in the US though.
In the UK, Loki managed 300,000, against WandaVision's 209,000 and Falcon's 254,000.
In Germany, Loki managed 96,000 against Wandavision's 42,000 and Falcon's 78,000.
In Australia, Loki managed 12,000 against Wandavision's 7,000 and Falcon's 10,000.
Loki's success among the MCU series could be easily attributed to its sheer brilliance but also to the general increase in Disney+ subscribers due to the ones that came before.
It is also quite evident that the meme-presence associated with the show really helped with the organic growth of the show.
As of now, Loki is the only MCU series to be renewed for season 2. Falcon and the Winter Soldier has not been renewed but sets up Captain America 4 perfectly with the winged hero claiming the title of Captain America and wielding the iconic shield.
Next up on the list of MCU series on Disney+ are What If...?, Hawkeye, and Ms. Marvel. Can these three shows carry the torch lit by their predecessors and burn it even brighter? I guess only time will tell.
The Hawkeye series has already been set up perfectly by the Black Widow end-credits scene. In case you have yet to see the Black Widow movie I will not say any more about that.
