Online 'Leaks' Suggest That Michael B. Jordan Will Be Back To Play The Role Of Killmonger In 'Black Panther 2'

Black Panther is for sure making a comeback in the MCU and the online leaks suggest that Michael B. Jordan will be making a comeback as Killmonger.

Around three weeks back, Marvel Cinematic Universe released 'Avengers: Endgame' and that movie drew the curtain to the MCU phase 3 and the fans are curious to know what will be Marvel's next step. A lot of movies are planning to make a comeback and the sequel to Black Panther is definitely one of them. The 'Black Panther' movie is getting a sequel for sure and is going to be directed by Ryan Coogler. The movie will be set after the events of 'Avengers: Endgame'.

The sequel will continue with the story of King T'Challa as he continues his rule over his nation of Wakanda but inevitably faces new threats. The reports also suggest that it will see the comeback of his allies like Okoye, his sister Shuri, mother Ramonda, and his romantic interest Nakia. But the latest apparent leak via Reddit user EddyTheMartian that is sourced from 4chan has indicated huge spoilers. But do take this news with a pinch of salt.

Killmonger

According to the 4chan, "Killmonger is set to come back in the spiritual plane. Queen Divine Justice will be featured. The movie will be political." Another point was also indicated by actor Courtney B. Vance who is married to star Angela Bassett that Michael B. Jordan would appear in the film as his dead character Erik 'Killmonger' Stevens, and now reading this, it makes a lot of sense.

The spiritual plane was first introduced in the first 'Black Panther' movie and it helped T'Challa to speak to his father who had passed away. Also, the sequel will see the arrival of the Queen Divine Justice, given the fact that leaks and rumors are true. In the comics, Queen Divine Justice was the member of the Jabari tribe who was raised in Chicago, Illinois and later became a member of the Dora Milaje.

Dora Milaje

The character later becomes one of the primary targets of Black Panther villainess Malice, who is the villainous alter-ego of former Dora Milaje member Nakia. It is not known yet if Nakia will turn the villain in the movie. For now, all we can do is wait and see what happens in the movie.
