When she goes to kill Giho, she finds that the captain has already been stabbed. Before passing away, he reveals some important information to Ji-hoo who learns that Song Joonsu was none other than her own father. He was an undercover agent with the narcotics department who infiltrated the Dongcheon organization to take the drug lords from within. Like father, like daughter. Ji-woo learns about her father's dual identity as well.

Mu-jin had found out about her father's real identity and when he was informed that Gong-hoon was visiting someone, he turned up with his service pistol and had shot him. Mu-jin then also kills the one ray of hope Ji-woo had in Jeon Pil-do, who wanted to bring her dad's killer to justice.
