They have worked together on multiple projects including Gangs of New York, The Aviator, The Departed, Shutter Island, and The Wolf of Wall Street. They had wanted to adapt Gangs of New York and Shutter Island as a television show but couldn’t move past the script stage. Currently, DiCaprio has a film and TV deal at Apple. DiCaprio executive produces the Apple series Shining Girls and previously did the $200 million feature Killers of the Flower Moon for the streamer.
