Underworld star Kate Beckinsale was hospitalized recently. The actress updated fans on her condition through an Instagram post.
Kate Beckinsale sent her fans into worry mode after she was reportedly hospitalized over the weekend.
TMZ released the initial report but the reason for Beckinsale's sudden hospitalization is still unknown to the public. The only thing we know is that she was suffering some kind of undisclosed issue with her back.
The Underworld actress was rushed to the hospital while she was in Las Vegas for work. Beckinsale did not comment on the details of her hospitalization but revealed on Instagram that she is feeling a lot better and is very grateful for the concern by fans.
Based on the image she posted on Instagram we can conclude that she has spent a couple of days in the hospital.
The report of her hospitalization by TMZ was unconfirmed before her Instagram post. The site stated that the actress was staying at the MGM Grand but was taken to the hospital around 10:30 a.m. local time on Friday morning.
Beckinsale was reportedly in Las Vegas filming her new movie Prisoner’s Daughter. It is directed by Catherine Hardwicke and the Underworld star will be acting alongside Brian Cox, Ernie Hudson, and Tyson Ritter.
The film follows a convict trying to reconnect with his daughter after spending 12 years in prison. The convict's daughter is played by Kate Beckinsale. Beckinsale's character also has a son, who is the convict's grandson.
A few days before her hospitalization, Beckinsale posted a picture of herself on Instagram in a sultry lace gown snap. The outfit is supposedly the outfit worn by her character in the film.
It is still unclear what exactly caused the star to be rushed to the hospital and whether she is still in the hospital. We will follow up on this story. Let's hope that she makes it out okay.
