Kanye "Ye" West has expressed his desire to "restore" his family with his now-estranged wife Kim Kardashian and their four children, North, 8, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm 2. This comes after news about Kardashian dating Pete Davidson was confirmed. The couple is still in the midst of a divorce that Kardashian filed for in February after they had grown apart from each other.

At the time, a source had stated: "Now this divorce is happening because Kim has grown up a lot. She is serious about taking the bar exam and becoming a lawyer, she is serious about her prison reform campaign. Meanwhile, Kanye is talking about running for president and saying other crazy s–t, and she's just had enough of it." Kanye had also stated that he wanted nothing to do with the family whose reality show he thought was over-the-top.

West was at the Los Angeles Mission's Annual Thanksgiving event when he said: "Now it's time to restore the families this Thanksgiving. It's all about restoring the family." He continued: "This morning, I felt so blessed to wake up, to work out, and be able to drive to my house and see my wife and my kids. That's right. I said, my wife and my children, and I want everyone to pray for my family. The narrative that God wants is for you to see that everything can be redeemed in all these relationships." He then went on to admit that they had made mistakes and, "I've made mistakes. I've publicly done things that were not acceptable as a husband. But I'm here to change that narrative. I am saying this because if the enemy can separate Kimye, there are going to be millions of families that feel like that separation is OK."

He even explained that he was trying to make a point in the "most sane" and "calm way possible," saying he wanted people to know the importance of uniting broken families. It does not look like Kanye has taken the news about Kim and Pete dating very well. Just a few weeks ago, Page Six reported that the 44-year-old Donda singer was dating 22-year-old model Vinetria. But after his latest monologue, it seems West has not moved on from his previous relationship with Kardashian, which lasted for six years.

He even went on to say, "When God, who has already wanted his soul, brings Kimye together, there's gonna be millions of families that are going to be influenced and see that they can overcome, could work as a separation of trauma." However, this is not the first time he has mentioned wanting to keep the marriage from falling apart. "At the end of the day, I ain't got the paperwork yet, so I'm going to come on this joint and try to save my family and keep my family together," he stated on Revolt TV's Drink Champs podcast. He also wanted to stay together for their kids.
