Lupita Nyong'o went through a good amount of training for the film and Jordan Peele played a huge role in it. He assigned her 10 horror films to watch.
Jordan Peele's has delivered another hit movie after 'Get Out' and it is breaking records at the Box Office. The film 'Us' was much awaited ever since its first trailer was released.
The horror fans couldn't help wait to see what Peele had to offer this time and they were satisfied with what they got to watch. The film starred the Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong'o, who played two very contradicting roles in the film. Her performance is being appreciated by the audience and the critics.
The actress went through a good amount of training for the film and Peele played a huge role in it. He assigned her 10 horror films to watch and they were ---
1) 'Dead Again', 2) 'The Shining', 3) 'The Babadook', 4) 'It Follows', 5) 'A Tale of Two Sisters ', 6) 'The Birds', 7) 'Funny Games (1997)', 8) 'Martyrs' and 9) 'Let the Right One In' and 10) The Sixth Sense.
The director of the film definitely worked in great detail for the film so he can deliver the movie perfectly.
In an Interview with Polygon, Pelle spoke about the film and a lot of scenes in the films. SPOILER ALERT! Talking about the screenplay of the film Peele said, "When I was doing the Oscar campaign for Get Out, it sort of took me out of the creative process for several months. Us really got creatively going in full after that, last March, about a year ago. It turns out I can make a movie from start to finish in about a year, although a lifetime of imagery was tapped for it."
The film did really great and Peele also plans for a 'Us' universe but Lupita in a recent interview said that she won't be a part of it. Well, maybe the director will probably look for another ace actor for his next venture, for which the fans cannot wait. Looks like Peele has hit the road to success!
