Johnny Depp is working closely with Jeff Beck to produce a brand new album, set to be released this summer.
Johnny Depp's life and career seem to be back on an upward trajectory ever since he won the defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife Amber Heard.
When the final verdict was read, the Pirates of the Caribbean star was in a pub in England after performing on stage with Jeff Beck. Beck and Depp met five years ago and they have been performing and producing music together since then.
The 58-year-old actor is now getting ready to release an album. He posted the message on June 1st to fans saying:
The best is yet to come and a new chapter is finally beginning.
Jeff Beck then added some clarity to Depp's statement when he said on stage.
We have recorded an album. I don't know how it happened. It's coming out in July.
This will be the second musical production by the duo since their joint version of 'Isolation', the theme of the first album by John Lennon and his Plastic Ono Band.
Depp's partnership with Beck isn't his first try at music though. Depp was once a member of the Hollywood Vampires along with Alice Cooper and Joe Perry. So he does have a bit of experience with the music business.
Are you looking forward to Depp and Beck's new album in July?
