We have finally gotten the release date for Kissing Booth 2!
Ever since Netflix announced Kissing Booth 2, the streaming giant has decidedly ghosted us on the project. They have however made up for this disservice (or at least attempted to) by having the star Joey King reveal the release date in a very spectacular way.
Joey King hosted a live event on YouTube on Thursday May 21st. During the event, she announced that the upcoming Kissing Booth sequel will be released on July 24!
She was joined by co-stars Joel Courtney, Taylor Zakhar Perez, and Maisie Richardson-Sellers during the event.
We recently wrote an article, covering all there is to know about Kissing Booth 2. That article will now be updated to include the release date and the poster. Check out the poster below:
At the end of the first film, Noah heads out for College and leaves Elle behind In the sequel we are going to see if the couple's romance will continue to flourish despite the long distance. The film will be based on Author Beth Reekles' book, The Kissing Booth 2: Going the Distance. This would mean that we will be seeing Elle with some of the complications brought on by a close friendship with a handsome, charismatic new classmate named Marco. We may also see Noah dealing with his own complications as he grows close to a seemingly perfect college girl.
The first Kissing Booth movie was by far one of the most successful romantic comedies on Netflix in 2018. And now all the fans are finally getting the wish that they've been pleading for; a sequel. You can check out Joey King's full live stream below:
