'JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Stone Ocean: Part 6' will introduce us to a new hero. We already have our first look at the anime through an announcement trailer and confirmed some of the voice actors who will give life to the central characters.
Here is everything you need to know.
There is no release date attached for 'JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Stone Ocean: Part 6' for now. There are speculations that the anime would come out at the beginning of the anime fall season (October 2021). However, this can easily be pushed to early 2022 based on the previous season's release schedules and the possible unforeseen impact of the Coronavirus pandemic on the anime's production.
The last seasons used to have only less than a year gap, but that changed with Golden Wind, which came out about 22 months after the ending of the previous season.
We will update this space once we get more information.
The anime will take a huge time jump and follow Jotaro’s daughter, Jolyne Cujoh, as the new central character. Jolyne is the first female protagonist in 'JoJo's Bizarre Adventure' anime and manga series. In a prison in the sunny state of Florida, Jolyne gets incarcerated after getting framed for murder. She eventually uncovers a sinister plot involving the prison chaplain Father Pucci who is a disciple of Dio. Jotaro tries to rescue his daughter from prison, but his plan is cut short after a Stand called Whitesnake uses its powers to remove both Jotaro’s Stand Star Platinum and his memories.
Jolyne enlists the help of other Stand-using prisoners to stop Dio's sinister plans and recover his father's powers and memories.
Japanese voice actress Ai Fairouz is confirmed to voice Jolyne Cujoh in 'JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Stone Ocean: Part 6'.
The actress is a huge fan of the anime and says that playing Jolyne's role is like a dream come true.
“I cannot live without the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure series, and it is also what aspired me to take voice acting as a profession. So when I heard that I was going to be able to participate in the series, I was lost for words and surprised that “Even a Stand would be blown to the moon.” I cried so much as it was literally the moment my dream came true, which I have chased over for 12 years," Fairouz said following her casting.
Daisuke Ono is also confirmed to return as Jotaro. So far, they are the only cast members confirmed. We are expecting to hear more casting updates soon.
