The superstar couple Jeniffer Lopez and Ben Affleck got married this weekend in Las Vegas.

The couple previously started dating in July 2002 spawning the nickname "Bennifer," and got engaged in November the same year. The marriage was supposed to happen in September 2003 which was postponed and then the couple eventually called off the engagement in early 2004.

But like the lady says "Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient," Jennifer and Ben rekindled their romance last year and tied a knot last weekend.

Lopez's fan newsletter, the J Lo, on Sunday reported, "We did it."

The couple flew to Vegas and arrived at the chapel just before midnight to wait in line with four other couples and were wed just after midnight at A Little White Wedding Chapel, a chapel boasting a drive-through “tunnel of love.” She further added a Bluetooth speaker played their brief march down the aisle. She called it the best night of their lives according to the account.

The couple obtained a marriage license in Clark County, Nevada, over the weekend, according to court records. The duo then wed in a "small" ceremony.

"Behind us two men held hands and held each other. In front of us, a young couple who made the three hour drive from Victorville on their daughter’s second birthday — all of us wanting the same thing — for the world to recognize us as partners and to declare our love to the world through the ancient and nearly universal symbol of marriage."

"It was the best possible wedding we could have imagined," the pair said. "One we dreamed of long ago and one made real." "So with the best witnesses you could ever imagine, a dress from an old movie and a jacket from Ben’s closet, we read our own vows in the little chapel and gave one another the rings we’ll wear for the rest of our lives," the newsletter read.

Jennifer excitedly announced her engagement in April this year. "I've realized there are many moments in my life where amazing things happened when I was wearing green," she shared. "Maybe you can remember a certain green dress," exclaiming green as her lucky color. Lopez teased the "major announcement" with a video on Twitter that same night.

"So I have a really exciting and special story to share..." Lopez told her followers.

The Marry Me actress, 52, shares 14-year-old twins Emme and Max with ex-husband Marc Anthony, and Affleck, 49, shares three kids with ex-wife Jennifer Garner: Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10.

"Stick around long enough and maybe you'll find the best moment of your life in a drive through in Las Vegas at 12:30 in the morning in the tunnel of love drive through with your kids and the one you'll spend forever with," said Lopez and we guess we'd also like to conclude it this way.
