After splitting from her partner of more than 20 years, Sacha Baron Cohen, Isla Fisher has spoken out.

On April 5, the couple announced on their Instagram stories that they had filed for divorce in 2023, following 13 years of marriage. Since then, Fisher has returned to social media.

The pair's joint statement read: "The statement read: "After a long tennis match lasting over twenty years, we are finally putting our racquets down. In 2023 we jointly filed to end our marriage.

"We have always prioritized our privacy, and have been quietly working through this change. We forever share in our devotion and love for our children. We sincerely appreciate your respecting our family’s wish for privacy."

Following their announcement on social media last year that they had decided to split, fans of the actors have been in shock. Some have even called the actors' joint statement and accompanying photo "speechless."

Following the announcement, Fisher has once again resorted to her Instagram stories.

The actor from Now You See Me posted on Instagram earlier today, May 14.

She uploaded a picture of herself grinning at the camera while sitting at a table in some sort of garden with a glass of wine.

The caption reads: "Thank you for all the kindness and support."

The news of Fisher and Cohen's breakup broke soon after Rebel Wilson, star of Pitch Perfect, came forward and said that Baron Cohen had "sexually harassed" her during production on The Brothers Grimsby.

In her biography Rebel Rising, Wilson discussed the purported incident and said that Cohen had asked her to record a sequence for the movie "naked."

She says Cohen tried to get her to wear clothes "where you could see as much cellulite as possible" in an attempt to make her "look and feel awful," even though she said the sequence was "no way essential to the plot."

Wilson also alleged other people have similar 'stories' to tell about Cohen, having come forward to share them since she detailed her alleged ordeal in her memoir.

Cohen has denied any wrongdoing, with a spokesperson telling The Hollywood Reporter: "While we appreciate the importance of speaking out, these demonstrably false claims are directly contradicted by extensive detailed evidence, including contemporaneous documents, film footage, and eyewitness accounts from those present before, during and after the production of The Brothers Grimsby."

The rumors started to circulate quickly, with fans of the actors wondering on social media if Wilson's accusations were the reason behind Fisher and him splitting up. Wilson quickly put an end to such conjecture.
