Gon, Killua, and Alluka part ways, and they promise to reunite somewhere down the lane, so we can hope that happens in the coming season. However, the dark continent in the manga doesn't really include them, so we don't know how things might proceed. Only time will tell! Also, it's very likely that creator Yoshihiro Togashi won't be illustrating more manga in this franchise so the source material will remain limited, and the studio will have to borrow from their own imagination if they want to continue the anime beyond season 7.
