Only Murders in the Building is coming back soon for another season. Hulu just dropped the trailer for the much-anticipated second season.

The show follows three strangers played, who happen to share a common obsession with a true-crime podcast. Following a suspicious death in their affluent Upper West Side apartment building, the Arconia, the three neighbors decide to start their own podcast about their investigation of the death, which the police rule as a suicide. The first season premiered on August 31, 2021. The show was critically acclaimed and the actors, Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez were praised for their performance.

The trailer for the second season is finally here to give us a sneak peek at what to expect from the new season. The show was renewed in September last year and will pick up from the cliffhanger of the last episode of the first season. (Warning! Spoilers ahead.)

The first season ended with some shocking revelations and the death of Arconia Board President Bunny Folger. Charles, Oliver, and Mabel end up at the scene of the crime and we make a full circle to the intro in the first episode. In the trailer we see the trio race to unmask the real killer after being framed for the murder. We see a clip of the three of them walking into what looks like Bunny's memorial and someone quips, "Oh, goodie, the murderers are here." Charles responds by saying: "We were framed." And Oliver adds, "It'll all be on the podcast."

We see clips of the murder generating a lot of interest in the press and there is also interrogation by the police. Season one's murderer also makes an appearance briefly in the trailer along with some new faces including Cara Delevingne (as Mabel's love interest) and Amy Schumer (as a resident of Arconia subletting Sting's apartment). The trailer further shows Charles, Oliver, and Mabel in their element as they break into apartments, find secret passageways, and most importantly pick up the eponymous podcast that made them notorious with the killer and the police in the first season. It certainly does the job to intrigue the audience to eagerly wait for the new season to premiere.
