Tokyo Revengers has inarguably risen to popularity ever since the first season of the anime premiered and with over 11 million copies of the manga in circulation, a season two of the anime adaptation was inevitable. Anime lovers have been eagerly looking forward to Tokyo Revengers Season 2 and now that it has finally arrived, people might be wondering where to stream it online. According to the official announcement, season 2 of this anime is now available for streaming on Hulu in the United States and Disney+ in Japan and new episodes arrive every week. The first season of Tokyo Revengers streamed on Crunchyroll but Kodansha has been planning to expand the market for their stories and has now joined the collaborative partnership with Hulu and Disney. The second season will cover only the Christmas Showdown arc from the manga.
The official synopsis of Tokyo Revengers reads as follows:
Takemichi Hanagaki has reached the absolute pits of despair in his life. He finds out that the only girlfriend he ever had, Hinata Tachibana, had been killed by the ruthless Tokyo Manji Gang. The day after hearing about her death, he's standing on the station platform and ends up being pushed over onto the tracks by a herd of people. He closes his eyes thinking he's about to die, but when he opens his eyes back up, he somehow had gone back in time 12 years. Now that he's back living the best days of his life, Takemichi decides to get revenge.
Since season 2 of Tokyo Revengers will animate the Christmas Showdown arc from the source material, we will see Takemichi Hanagaki trying to change the timeline by jumping back to the past once again to undo crucial events which resulted in Tokyo Manji Gang turning completely corrupt. He has to stop the merging of Black Dragon and Tokyo Manji Gang in order to change the future this time. Takemichi’s involvement in the past timeline will result in the Christmas Eve battle between the Black Dragons and the Tokyo Meiji gangs that will impact the future of the characters severely.
