House Of Flowers (La Casa de las Flores) premiered on Netflix on August 10, 2018.
The Mexican black comedy-drama series launched 3 successful seasons on the streaming platform.
After season 3's release on Netflix on April 23, 2020, let's find out what's next for the series.
Here's everything we know so far.
We hate to be the bearer of bad news, but unfortunately, House Of Flowers will no longer proceed to season 4.
The cancellation announcement came in 2018 when Netflix announced the show's season 3 renewal.
The much-awaited news came with a bitter revelation that it will be the final season for the beloved show.
The news came as a big shock for the fans of House of Flowers. However, Show director Manolo Caro revealed that he always knew that season 3 is going to be the last.
“We knew that this would be the last one. We knew since we made the first that if things went well, there would be three seasons," Caro said via Entertainment Tonight.
Of course, goodbyes are never easy, as the viewers fell in love with the main characters in a span of 3 seasons.
“I think what will surprise you most is the nostalgia -- the nostalgia that these characters, whom you all love greatly, have as their stories come to an end," Caro said, reflecting on the show's season finale.
“And you will also see how sometimes life is full of cycles, and the de la Mora family will complete one major cycle,” he added.
In case you haven't added House Of Flowers in your list of go-to Netflix titles yet, allow us to give you a bit of background.
House Of Flowers is a Mexican black comedy-drama that revolves around a dysfunctional upper-class Mexican family. They own a prestigious floristry shop and a struggling cabaret, both named 'The House of Flowers'.
The show is highly acclaimed for creatively incorporating discussions on homophobia, transphobia, race, class, sexuality, and morality in Mexico. All while chronicling through the different drama that the family members had to go through in the entire three seasons.
House Of Flowers is no longer coming back for a fourth season.
The show has, however, brought the main characters closer to the hearts of the viewers who accompanied them since 2018.
The cast members include Cecilia Suárez as Paulina de la Mora, Claudette Maillé as Roberta Sánchez, Dario Yazbek Bernal as Julián de la Mora, Juan Pablo Medina as Diego Olvera, and Aislinn Derbez as Elena de la Mora among others.
