The first season of the regency drama, Bridgerton, was a huge hit. It became the most-watched series on Netflix at the time of its release on December 25, 2020. The show was based on Julia Quinn's novels set in the sexy, lavish, and competitive world of Regency London high society. This Shondaland series received raving reviews and was renewed initially for a second season. Last year, it was confirmed that it has been renewed for a third and fourth season as well.

The second season premiere is edging closer and we are being spoiled with teasers all around. The first season revolved around Daphne Bridgerton who makes her debut and preps to enter an alliance of marriage fit for her family name. She also has to evade becoming a part of the gossip column run by the anonymous Lady Whistledown who exposes the ongoing scandals around town.

In the second season, we will be following Daphne's elder brother, Anthony's quest for love as he sets out to find a suitable wife. Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley) and her younger sister Edwina (Charithra Chandran) arrive from India and Anthony starts to court the latter sister. Soon enough, Kate discovers that his intentions for marriage are not so pure. While we wait for the much-awaited drama to unfold, we were given a peek at what to expect.

Phoebe Dynevor is set to reprise her role as Daphne, as well as fan favorites like Queen Charlotte (Golda Rosheuvel) and Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan). Julie Andrews is also returning as the voice of Lady Whistledown. Bridgerton Season 2 will premiere on March 25.
