We've got the full list of all the new releases on Netflix today.
Happy Friday the 13th, folks! A Friday the 13th in the year 2020 seems like a dreadful thing to think about but let's hope the day ends without any major horrors. Close your doors and watch out for any guy wearing a mask, and you'll be fine (lol). What we can gladly look forward to today, however, is watching some of the new releases Netflix has graced us with. We've got the full list for you, right here.
The most interesting new addition to Netflix today is the 2008 Mystery horror 'Prom Night.' The film only managed a 7% score on Rotten Tomatoes, so watch this one at your own risk. The plot reads:
On prom night, a high school senior still struggling with her nightmare past tries to evade a killer bent on ending the party for her and her friends.
Nelson McCormick directed the film, and it stars Brittany Snow, Scott Porter, Jessica Stroup, and Dana Davis.
Ryan Coogler became well-known for his directorial success in the Marvel gem Black Panther. But he was crushing the game way before that, working with Michael B. Jordan almost every step of the way. Coogler made his first feature film in 2013, entitled 'Fruitvale Station.' It tells the story of Oscar Grant III, a 22-year-old Bay Area resident, who crosses paths with friends, enemies, family, and strangers on the last day of 2008. It stars Michael B. Jordan, Melonie Diaz, Kevin Durand, Chad Michael Murray, Ahna O'Reilly, and Octavia Spencer.
