ABC just dropped the first season 3 teaser trailer, featuring Dr. Shaun Murphy's big date with Carly.
Good news for all the 'Good Doctor' fans as it has been recently confirmed for a third season. The official announcement was made and published by ABC on the show's official Twitter page on February 5, 2019. It goes without saying that the show was a hit with the audience back in 2017, during its debut season premiere. However, it's worth noting that in its 2nd installment the medical drama has lost over a third of its target audience. No release date for the third season has been released as of now. It was recently confirmed by ABC that The Good Doctor will officially return on Monday, September 23 at 10 p.m. The first teaser of the third season is also out and you can watch it right here.
There are a few options on where to watch this show. You can watch it live in ABC to its regular 10 p.m. slot on Mondays. If you can't catch the new episodes as they air, however, they'll also be available for later viewing on the ABC website. Also, if you have Hulu subscription, you can also catch up on or rewatch the season 1 and 2.
The show posted a photo of Paige Spara, Freddie Highmore, Antonia Thomas, Hill Harper, and Tamlyn Tomita at a season 3 table read. Nicholas Gonzalez and Christina Chang have been featured in other behind-the-scenes posts from the set of the show, confirming their returns and we are also hoping that Richard Schiff will be back too.

Dr. Melendez and Dr. Lim will be dealing with some relationship drama of their own. In the season 2 finale, In the season 2 finale, Dr. Lim was promoted to chief of surgery and that will make her the boss of Dr. Melendez.
The plot follows Shaun Murphy, a young aspiring surgeon with autism and has savant syndrome. After coming from a troubled childhood, Murphy heads to San Jose, California, with the firm intention to work at the prestigious surgery unit in San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital. His mentor, Dr. Aaron Glassman supports Murphy's purpose. Because of his condition, he cannot speak or communicate with the outer world but his extraordinary medical skills allow Murphy to save lives.
