The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced the nominees for the 79th annual Golden Globe Awards on Monday. The group's President Helen Hoehne told Variety that this year has been one of change and reflection for the group. “For the past eight months, we have worked tirelessly as an organization to be better,” she said, pointing out that it had changed its bylaws and added new codes of conduct. “We also have 21 new members,” Hoehne added. “The largest and most diverse in our 79-year-old history. Not only have they brought in a fresh perspective, but ideas that will help us continue to evolve.”
