The premiere of Hawkeye is set to debut around Thanksgiving later this month. The upcoming six-part series from Marvel Cinematic Universe features Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) and his new sidekick Kate Bishop, played by Hailee Steinfeld. Hawkeye will also star Vera Farmiga as Eleanor Bishop, Fra Fee as The Clown, Tony Dalton as Swordsman, Alaqua Cox as Echo, Zahn McClarnon as William Lopez, and Florence Pugh reprising her Black Widow role of Yelena Belova.

We first saw the bow-and-arrow-wielding hero in 2011’s Thor. And the last time fans saw him was when he helped Captain America, Iron Man and the rest of the team take down Thanos in 2019’s Avengers: Endgame, reports Us Weekly. In the upcoming series, according to Comic Book, the show will involve Barton and Bishop working together to confront enemies of the past.

“[Kate is] a 22-year-old kid and she’s a big Hawkeye fan,” the Hurt Locker actor told Entertainment Weekly in July 2021. “She has a wonderfully annoying and equally charming manner about her, because she’s such a fangirl of Hawkeye.” He continued, “The relationship grows from that, but the biggest problem for Clint is Kate Bishop and the onslaught of problems that she brings into his life.”

So what do fans think about Hawkeye so far? Let's take a look at the first online reactions to the series below:
