We just can't get enough of Stranger Things. The sci-fi thriller series is currently in its fourth season after the first volume premiered on May 27. The second volume will be released in less than two weeks. The time between the first two volumes has allowed a lot of us to rewatch the entire series again. This was pretty evident in the fact that the other season of Stranger Things have made it to the Top 10 list as well.
The characters of the show are easy to fall in love with and we just can't seem to get enough of them. The actors who play these characters will forever be iconic. It may be difficult for a Stranger Things fan to see them as other characters but they are good actors after all. They will do justice to whatever role they take on. Here are some movies you can find the cast of Stranger Things in:
Millie Bobby Brown who plays El in Stranger Things took on the role of Enola Holmes, Sherlock's sister, in the film of the same name. She not only played the titular role but also served as producer for the film. A second film is on the way in which she will be reprising her role alongside Louis Partridge, Adeel Akhtar, Susie Wokoma, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, David Thewlis, Henry Cavill, and Helena Bonham Carter.
Finn Wolfhard who plays Mike in Stranger Things was a part of the Ghostbusters sequel film. In the show, he is a big fan of the film and even goes dressed as the cast for Halloween in Season One. And in real-life he got to be a part of the Ghostbuster franchise as Trevor, Egon Spengler's grandson. The film, set 32 years after Ghostbusters II, also stars Carrie Coon, Mckenna Grace, and Paul Rudd, with Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Annie Potts, and Sigourney Weaver reprising their characters from the earlier films.
We all loved Steve from Stranger Things the cool guy who turned soft. Joe Keery plays Steve in the series. Recently, he was part of the hit 2021 film, Free Guy, as Walter "Keys" McKey. He stars alongside Ryan Reynolds, Jodie Comer, Lil Rel Howery, Utkarsh Ambudkar, and Taika Waititi.
We will see not one but two familiar faces in the Fear Street Trilogy. Sadie Sink, whom we know as Max from Stranger Things, plays the role of Ziggy Berman in Fear Street Part Two: 1978 and Fear Street Part Three: 1666.
Maya Hawke is also a part of the film series. She plays Robin in Stranger Things and in Fear Street Part One: 1994, she plays Heather Watkins.
Our beloved Hopper is a part of the MCU. David Harbour is in Black Widow as Alexei Shostakov aka Red Guardian. In Stranger Things, he is fighting off the Russians but in the Black Widow, he is a Russian super-soldier who is a counterpart to Captain America. But one thing that remains constant is his presence as a father-figure. As Hopper, he looks after El and as Shostakov he is a father figure to Natasha Romanoff and Yelena Belova.
Natalia Dyer, whom we know as Nancy, is a part of another Netflix project. She has acted in the satirical horror film Velvet Buzzsaw as Coco. She has starred alongside Jake Gyllenhaal, Zawe Ashton, Rene Russo, Toni Collette, Daveed Diggs, Nitya Vidyasagar, Tom Sturridge, Billy Magnussen, Mig Macario, and John Malkovich.
Wolfhard has really chosen the horror niche to make waves in. In 2017 he was a part of the clown horror film It, as Richie Tozier. The film was the first of a two-part adaptation of the 1986 novel of the same name by Stephen King. He reprised his role in the second instalment as well with Bill Hader playing the grown up version of his character.
Noah Schnapp plays Will in Stranger Things. In 2020, he was a part of the mystery comedy film Hubie Halloween, starring alongside Adam Sandler in the title role, Kevin James, Julie Bowen, Ray Liotta, Rob Schneider, June Squibb, Kenan Thompson, Shaquille O'Neal, Steve Buscemi, and Maya Rudolph.
In Stranger Things, Charlie Heaton plays Jonathan Byers. He has also acted in the film Shut In, a 2016 psychological thriller as Stephen Portman. He stars alongside Naomi Watts, Oliver Platt, Charlie Heaton, Jacob Tremblay, David Cubitt, and Clémentine Poidatz.
In Stranger Things, the Dungeons and Dragons gang with Will, Mike, Dustin, and Lucas are not really the sporty type. But in the latest season, we see Lucas becoming a basketball star. Before this, he was a part of the sports drama film High Flying Bird in which he has starred with Holland, Zazie Beetz, Melvin Gregg, Sonja Sohn, Zachary Quinto, Glenn Fleshler, Jeryl Prescott, Justin Hurtt-Dunkley, Bobbi Bordley, Kyle MacLachlan and Bill Duke, and with appearances by actual basketball players Reggie Jackson, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Donovan Mitchell.
