HBO Max Drops Nostalgic Trailer For ‘Friends: The Reunion’

The official trailer sees the cast getting emotional as they revisit the set of the legendary sitcom and relive some of the show's best episodes.

Friends: The Reunion

The official trailer for ‘Friends: The Reunion’ is here, and it sweeps us with a great wave of nostalgia.

The trailer was released by HBO Max on Thursday, May 20, exactly a week before it premieres on the streaming platform.

The trailer sees Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry, and Matt LeBlanc returning to the show’s original soundstage in Burbank, California.

This is the first time for the cast to get back to the set together since “Friends” ended nearly 20 years ago.

They looked back at their fun memories together, from the time they first met until the time they became each other's family. The cast also did a table-read of some of the popular episodes in the long-running series like “The One With the Jellyfish” and “The One Where Everybody Finds Out” (where  Phoebe’s iconic ‘My eyes! My eyes!’ line came from).

There was a scene of the group playing a 2021 version of the trivia quiz game just like they used to in the episode called “The One with the Embryos”.

The trailer is filled with so many emotions that Aniston even asks for the tissue box, while Cox can not stop her tears from flowing down her cheeks.

“I know you know how big the show is. What you have given so many people is an experience of huge comfort. We felt like we have these friends,” host James Corden said.

'Friends' was a hit sitcom that premiered on NBC on September 22, 1994. The popular show lasted ten seasons and concluded on May 6, 2004.
