The movie is set to premiere on July 28 2023 and we can't wait! The movie was originally scheduled to release on March 10, 2023, the moved to August 11 for some reason and finally pushed back to July. Hopefully, this was the last change that was made.
Plots details are not very elaborate at the moment, however here's the official synopsis for the movie, "A single mom named Gabbie hires a tour guide, a psychic, a priest, and a historian to help exorcise their newly bought mansion; after discovering it is inhabited by ghosts."
We know that Gabbie will be played by Rosario Dawson and Ben will be played by LaKeith Standfield and the priest will be placed by Owen Wilson. While the films won't be in a musical format, however, it's Disney so we should be expecting some recognizable music as part of this film. The music will be directed by King Richard composer Kris Bowers.

Yes, the trailer was unveiled by Justin Simien who took to the stage to reveal the extended trailer introducing the world to the character of the new adaptation. The trailer opens by giving a basic intro of the characters and we see Ben, Kent, Gabbie, and Harriet immediately. However, the trailer has not been launched for public viewing yet.
