We might not have an official title for GTA 6 yet but we got all the interesting leaks about the upcoming game.
Gamers are in for a treat as Grand Theft Auto 6 or GTA 6 is officially happenning after all these years of speculation. The developers, Rockstar Games are yet to announce the title of the sixth game and they are still working on it. On February 2022, the GTA 5 Community Update section received a little hint that "active development for the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series is well underway." According to Games Radar, over 90 videos and screenshots from GTA 6 were leaked online, and the developers acknowledged the authentication of the leaked material and worked hard to take them off the internet. But we have gathered every bit of information that you need to know about the much anticipated GTA 6. Read ahead to find out.
According to Radio Times, there is no official release date for the game announced by Rockstar Games yet, but Microsoft has stated that "the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI is expected to be released in 2024."
Gamers can expect to play GTA 6 on platforms like PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Xbox Series X and Series S, and Microsoft Windows like its predecessors.
Every GTA game has a separate storyline where the players have to rise through the criminal life in the city and work their way to the top. If we follow the leaks, GTA 6 is apparently about to have a pair of leading characters that are inspired by the story of Bonnie and Clyde. However, the developers have not confirmed the authenticity of this information yet. According to the reports of Bloomberg, Rockstar Games has described GTA 6 as Project Americas, and it will be bigger than previous GTA games. The map will span over 30 miles and have an increased number of interior locations than GTA 5. The game is still in the early stages of development, and it will include locations inspired by South and North America. The map in GTA 6 will be of a fictional city similar to GTA 3's Vice City and will resemble areas of Miami. The leaker Chris Klippel has also claimed that GTA 6 is being developed using the new Rage engine. If we rely on the success of 2013's GTA 5, then we can expect GTA 6 to have multiplayer online mode as well.
