All seasons of the series aired on the FOX Channel, and the show is one of the most-watched TV series these days. After the success of all five seasons, 'Gotham' gained massive popularity and huge fan followers worldwide. It received a 7.8 out of 10 rating on IMDb. Since this series is among the highest-rated crime drama series on the Fox channel, fans are wondering whether season 6 will hit the screen. They are expecting that their most adored series will have a proper ending. Here is everything you need to know about 'Gotham' Season 6.
The series was first broadcast on Fox on September 22, 2014, and ended on April 25, 2019. 'Gotham' season 5 consists of 12 episodes only in total, while other seasons had 22 episodes. As for the release of the sixth season, Fox Entertainment and the companies behind the series' production officially announced that 'Gotham' season 5 will be the last and final season. Therefore, 'Gotham' will not have a sixth season.
Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) became Batman in the fifth season. We also got to see Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) transform into the mustachioed officer from the famous DC comics. Most cliffhangers and fan questions were resolved at the end of the final season.
