The Portuguese series garnered exceptional reviews. Will it return for another season?
‘Glória’ is a moving spy TV series created by Pedro Lopes.The series is based on the actual life events that happened in the 1960s, it explains how Gloria was placed in an agreement during the cold war by revealing Joao Vidal in the Portuguese village of Glória do Ribatejo. Vidal often puts his life in danger while fighting for his country. Working as a Spy was never easy. It is terrifying and traumatic. Will he overcome the trauma? Fans are so eager to know when will be the release date for season 2 of 'Gloria' and see what will happen. Let's find out.
The first season of 'Gloria' aired on Netflix on November 5, 2021. The series consists of ten episodes with a running time of 40 minutes each. As for season 2 of 'Glória,' Netflix has made no announcements regarding its renewal. But since ‘Glória’ is Netflix’s first major Portuguese series, that garnered exceptional reviews and got a rating of 8.2/10 on IMDb the show may get renewed for season 2. If that happens, we should expect the second season in 2024.
The first season ended on a cliffhanger when the RAARET building exploded. So many questions ran into our heads. What will happen after the explosion? Who is behind it? Who died and survived? Those are the questions we should expect to get an answer to if the second season might happen in the future. Season 2 might have a thrilling plotline as it will also likely focus on João Vidal's mission and adventures.
